17 Nov Port of Leknes / Lofoten: Stay two days, pay for one

It’s no secret – one of the main goals for many guests visiting Norway on a cruise is to experience the Midnight Sun or the Northern Lights.
The Port of Leknes in the western part of the Lofoten Islands now offers cruise agencies a stay two days and pay for one deal when mooring overnight at the port. Ships would normally be charged for two days in such cases. This provides excellent opportunities for shore excursions in the evening or at night. It will be much more comfortable for the guests since the attractions and activities will not be so crowded. Perhaps many of the guests stay up late anyway – just to get a glimpse of these natural phenomena.

Please contact Lofoten Cruise Network for help when planning your itinerary and shore excursions.
