Longyearbyen is located between high mountains and are the biggest community at Svalbard with over 2000 inhabitants. Your guide will tell about the history of Svalbard and walk in Longyearbyen to give a better understanding of why people are living here. The guide will aslo tell about and show the flora, and if we are lucky maybe we will spot a reindeer walking in the city?
